Foggy Bottom Restaurants were once prominent fixtures within Oklahoma state parks, each featuring an associated gift shop. Entrusted by the client, I assumed the responsibility of procuring and curating a diverse array of merchandise to populate these establishments. From apparel and drinkware to caps, gifts, home goods, and children’s products, the task demanded meticulous attention to detail and thorough oversight. A significant aspect of my role involved personally designing numerous apparel, caps, and merchandise items.
This process entailed not only creative ideation but also sourcing the most suitable vendors, both domestic and overseas. Establishing and nurturing relationships within the supplier network was crucial, particularly when negotiating favorable terms for custom plush toys or specialized kids' fishing reels. Furthermore, I spearheaded the development of a distinct character for the brand. Collaborating closely with our in-house graphic designers, we refined the character's visual identity through a series of iterations, culminating in the selection of the final design. Subsequently, I assumed the responsibility of integrating this character into various facets of the brand's merchandise, from conceptualization and artwork creation to storyboard layout and final sales.
Throughout these endeavors, the cornerstone of success lay in the cultivation of strong relationships and mutual trust among the client, vendors, and myself. This collaborative approach ensured not only the seamless execution of the project but also its enduring success in the market.

Such an opportunity arose when Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits, one of my esteemed clients, sought innovative strategies to bolster Jim Beam sales across restaurants and bars in the Oklahoma market. As a proficient brand strategist, I take pride in leveraging my expertise to craft compelling narratives that resonate deeply with consumers.
Following an extensive brainstorming session, I proposed a comprehensive solution comprising enticing apparel and bespoke drinkware. However, it became evident that a key element was still absent. Recognizing the importance of fostering a sense of exclusivity among bar managers, I advocated for elevating the quality of the offerings. While I value cost-effectiveness, I also prioritize long-term success, often encouraging clients to invest in superior solutions that align with their overarching objectives. Intuitively, I identified bar stools as a potential game-changer, a decision that proved highly successful, delighting the client and resulting in a remarkable sevenfold increase in orders.
